About us

We are a small team of dedicated voluntary committee members, and additional volunteers, who started Crich Live in 2021. We work closely with Live and Local, a nationally recognised arts organisation promoting rural touring. And we engage with other local and national artists and performers.

Our continued aim is to bring a range of different shows, including different styles of music, comedy, drama and dance. We’ve also promoted a talk and slide show by a renown local wildlife photographer, a true crime evening by two local ex-detectives, and a choir!

Our team of volunteers help run the shows by building the stage, setting the lighting, running the bar and raffle, ticketing, and assisting the audience.

Roger Bode

Hi I’m Roger, the Promoter for Crich Live. My role involves working with Live and Local, other organisations and the venues. I’m the point of contact for the artists, acts and contributors to the shows and events.

Deana O’Dare

ticketing and marketing

Hi I’m Deana. I set up the shows on TicketSource so you can buy your tickets. I make sure that all of our subscribed followers receive priority information about every show. I also make sure the bills get paid!

Geoff Brown

operations

Hi I’m Geoff. I am responsible for the operational planning and setup of events and for coordinating the volunteer team.

Stuart Humphris

Hi I’m Stuart. I help out with the stage setup and most imporantly I ensure that the bar (best prices in Crich!) is stocked and and ready for every event. I’m also responsible for keeping track of the finances.
